- General Information -
Andover Community Access & Media is a non profit local access television system serving Andover and it’s residents. Located in Andover High School, the studio shares an entrance with the Collins Center for the Performing Arts. Equipment and Facilities are provided for the use of all Andover residents over 18. Access users under 18 are permitted with parent’s signature.
The facility has a large studio space and is one of the most advanced local television studios in the region. Our primary format for all video production is DV (digital video) tape.
At Andover Community Access & Media we train volunteers who are interested in creating local television programming. Training is offered in studio production, field production, and digital editing. Once properly trained, the facility will be made available to volunteers on a first come first serve basis to create programs.
- Hours of Operation -
The Andover Community Access & Media studio is a shared facility with Andover High School.
This means that between the hours of 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Mon. – Fri. it is essentially a classroom for AHS TV students. Community volunteers are welcome to schedule shoots after 3:00PM and into the evening with proper reservations. If there are extenuating circumstances community shoots can be scheduled during school hours with approval.
